Ame's World
Ame's World is a universe created by Ame Kumo. It inhabitates her original species. Ame's World is often shortened to AW.Original species
An original species is a kind of animal made up by an artist.Closed species
Some artist want to protect their idea of a species and limit access to it. Permission to use a species can come in form of MYOs, species rights, or simply being a trusted friend of the owner.Open species
These species are free to use for anyone. They may still have rules on what to do in order to create a character.Semi-open / semi-closed species
These are a mix between open and closed species. They usually offer a freebie MYO, but additional MYOs or rights have to be bought. Their rules vary a lot, so make sure to read closely!MYOs
MYOs (aka "Make your own") are one time tickets to a species to make a character. Once you use a MYO, it disappears. You can have multiple MYOs to the same species at a time, but each MYO only allows you to make one character.

Making OCs
To make an OC of a species, you have to follow these steps:1. Have permission to use the species
Permission can come in the forms of MYOs, species rights or it simply being an open species.2. Design your character
Reference the species infos and mind the limitations of your MYOs/rights to design your character.3. Get your character approved
We have approval chats dedicated to getting new designs checked by a moderator. Send the full design, a list of traits you used and proof of permission. A moderator will approve your design or help you fix details. It is recommended to keep a copy of the approval screenshot.Ame's World MYOs
Most of our MYOs work like this:1. Select a standard MYO
This will give you permission to make a character with general traits (of the species you selected).2. Add more traits
You can add optional traits on top of your MYO. Depending on how many and what kind of traits you add, the final price will change.3. Pay for the MYO
Use the discord channels made for purchasing MYOs and state which species & which traits you want.4. Design a character
Using the MYO and the extra traits you chose, design a character.5. Use the MYO & get approved
Go to the approval chat to send both your character design and proof of your MYO to a mod. The mod will approve your design & mark your MYO as used. Now you have your own species character!

Backstory
Years after Mizushi settled into their new habitat underwater, a small miracle occurred. A Mizushi couple that had been preparing for their child was surprised to find not just their child born - but another creature alongside it. Made from scraps the baby did not need, the first Syveli was born.From that point on, incidents like this were reported all over the city. Newborns being accompanied by Syveli was a blessing and families kept the pet as a close companion for their child.
Abilities
Temperature
Syveli don't have enough magic potential to keep their body at an acceptable temperature, which is why they depend on their Mizushi's body temperature to cool themselves down.
If they don't have a Mizushi owner, they will search for alternative methods to keep themselves cool.Teeth
Syveli teeth are incredibly sturdy which enables them to bite into everything they want. They're not used to eating, so they'll try anything that looks fun to them.Attack & Defense
Since Syveli are almost invulnerable on their water parts, they will make use of that advantage and try to make their opponent trip by running around their feet or try to blind them by wrapping around their face. If the foe tries to grab them, Syveli will bite them with their sharp little painful teeth.When cornered, Syveli roll themselves up in a ball, using the water of their body as a shield for their fur parts. Using their magic, they can create an additional ice shield around them, but they won't be able to hold up that shield for a long time.
